Chen Xia

陈夏，1966年生，福建省莆田人。国家一级美术师、文化部中华文化遗产保护传承大师、中国世纪大采风书画院常务副院长、中华卫视艺术风采栏目组艺术总监、央媒文化组委会艺术顾问、央广国际文化交流艺术委员会副主席、中国楹联学会书法艺术研究会副秘书长、中国诗书画家网艺术家委员会副主席、黄河文化书画院院士、中华文化遗产保护书画委员会委员。荣获华夏国宝——中华优秀传统文化传承人物称号，荣获中央数字电视国学频道精彩中华栏目组“中国骄傲·精彩中华榜样艺术家”荣誉称号。

2020年1月受邀出席中央电视台演播大厅录制的国际中国公益事业大典，荣获“我和我的祖国2019年度国际中国艺坛领军人物”荣誉称号。同年应邀出席参加2020全球华夏之星春节联欢晚会的录制，现场登台挥毫泼墨，被授予“最具艺术造诣”荣誉称号。作品《大展鸿图》被全球华夏之星春晚组委会收藏。2021年5月应出席“2021年品牌强国论坛”，被授予“中国书画界2021年度十大品牌创新人物”荣誉奖项，2022年5月由央视主持人代言《中国文化人物》节目录制并授予荣誉勋章，同年6月受邀参加CCTV《国货优品》栏目评选，被授予“中国文化品牌人物”。

作品先后获得全国“祥虎出山书画大赛”虎王奖，“和平颂，中华情全国美术书法百家邀请展”一等奖，“相约北京全国书画展”一等奖，首届中国国际书画艺术大赛二等奖，“羲之杯全国诗书画家邀请展”二等奖，“出山书画60名人书画大赛”三等奖等。作品被“中国邮政”收录、向全国发行纪念邮集一册。书画作品先后入编《中国文化信息博览》、《名流中国》、《盛世和谐—中国书画名家大典》、《中华颂—全国文学艺术精品集》、《华人时代—名家画刊》、《和平颂—中华情全国美术书法作品大观》、2021年3月受邀为封面人物入编《采风中国》两会特刊等。

陈夏的艺术深含他自身的修为、学识、胸怀、睿智、才华的品格，搜尽奇峰打草稿，师古而不泥古，求新而不取宠，极富传统又出新意，令人心悸神夺，遐想无边。运用艺术语言时，充分发挥自己丰富的想象力和创造性，采用浓墨重彩，大胆地将丰富的色彩应用于传统书画作品的创作上。为了追求美的视觉效果，达到人与自然和谐，借鉴传统的泼墨泼彩法，追求色彩的丰富性。贯穿全图的是他强烈的真挚感情。写景写情，既发挥了自己长于写生和掌握坚实造型技巧的优势，又运用勾、勒、点、擦、皴、染的笔墨功力，在黑白、色彩、虚实、浓淡中赋予造型以动感和韵味，每一幅都追求审美的极致。

Chen Xia, born in 1966, was born in Putian, Fujian Province. National first-class artist, Master of the Chinese Cultural Heritage protection and inheritance of the Ministry of Culture, Executive vice president of the Chinese Century Great Mining Style Calligraphy and Painting Academy, artistic director of the Chinese TV Artistic style program group, artistic consultant of the Central Media Culture Committee, Vice chairman of the Central Guangzhou International Cultural Exchange Art Committee, Deputy Secretary General of the Calligraphy Art Research Association of the Chinese Association of Couplets, vice chairman of the Artist Committee of the Chinese Poetry and Book Painter Network, Academician of Yellow River Cultural Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of Chinese Cultural Heritage Protection Calligraphy and Painting Committee. He was honored with the title of "Huaxia National Treasure -- Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture Inheritor" and the honorary title of "Pride of China · Excellent Chinese Model Artist" in the wonderful Chinese column group of Central Digital TV Sinology Channel.

In January 2020, he was invited to attend the International Chinese Public Welfare Ceremony recorded in the studio hall of CCTV and won the honorary title of "Me and my Country 2019 International Chinese Art Leaders". In the same year, he was invited to participate in the recording of the Spring Festival Gala of 2020 Global Chinese Stars, and was awarded the honorary title of "the most artistic attainments". The work "Big Picture" is collected by the organizing committee of the Global Huaxia Star Spring Festival Gala. In May 2021, he attended the "2021 Brand Power Forum" and was awarded the honorary award of "Top Ten Innovative Brand Figures in China's Calligraphy and Painting Circle in 2021". In May 2022, he was recorded and awarded the Medal of Honor by the CCTV host who spoke for the program "Chinese Cultural Figures". In June of the same year, he was invited to participate in the selection of the column of CCTV "Excellent Chinese Products". Awarded "Chinese Cultural Brand Figure".

His works have won the Tiger King Award of the National "Xianghu Mountain Painting and Calligraphy Competition", the first prize of the "Peace Ode, Chinese Feeling National Art and Calligraphy Invitation Exhibition", the first prize of the "Meet Beijing National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition", the second prize of the first China International Painting and Calligraphy Art Competition, the second prize of the "Xizhi Cup National Poetry and Calligraphy Painter Invitation Exhibition", the third prize of the "Mountain Painting and Calligraphy 60 Celebrity Painting and Calligraphy Competition" and so on. His works were collected by "China Post" and a commemorative stamp album was issued to the whole country. Calligraphy and painting works have been edited into the "Chinese Cultural Information Expo", "Celebrity China", "Harmony in the flourishing times - Chinese calligraphy and painting masters Ceremony", "Chinese times - National literature and art masterpieces", "Peace praise - Chinese situation of the National Art and Calligraphy works", in March 2021 invited to be the cover figure into the "Collecting style of China" two sessions special issue.

Chen Xia's art deeply contains his own cultivation, knowledge, mind, wisdom, talent character, search all the peaks of the draft, learn from the ancient but not the old, seek the new but not the favor, extremely traditional and innovative, which makes the heart palpitate and the imagination boundless. When using artistic language, he gives full play to his rich imagination and creativity, adopts thick ink and heavy colors, and boldly applies rich colors to the creation of traditional painting and calligraphy works. In order to pursue the beautiful visual effect, to achieve harmony between man and nature, the traditional splashing ink splashing color method is used for reference, the pursuit of color richness. Throughout the picture is his strong sincere feelings. Landscape writing, not only play their own good at sketching and grasp the advantages of solid modeling skills, but also the use of hook, strangle, point, wipe, Cun, dye pen and ink skills, in black and white, color, virtual, thick and light to give the modeling with a dynamic and lasting taste, each is the pursuit of aesthetic perfection.
